FICRA’s annual Summer Solstice celebration is Saturday, June 24th, from 4:00-9:00pm at the Nichols Community Center.
We have a food truck planned (Slam Dunk Sausage Company), beer and wine for sale, and music by the duo “Krazy Kats” from 5:00-6:15pm and the band “Sol” from 6:30-8:30pm. Of course, we also have our famous island kickball game beginning at 4:30pm, a cornhole tournament for bragging rights, and other games for the entire family.
This is a family friendly event for our island community to celebrate the arrival of summer. Bring your own blanket/lawn chairs, a picnic dinner or buy from our food truck, and just enjoy the sounds of summer with friends and family! You earned it!
