Fox Island Bridge Sign – The Building Trust owns and maintains the bridge sign for the purpose of notifying Fox Island residents of upcoming events, activities, safety alerts, and meetings. When not being used for FICRA and Trust events, the sign is available for nonprofit use for events available to all island residents. The usage policy is available here. If you would like to have a message appear on the bridge sign, please send us an Email at sign@ficra.org.

Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One Burn Permits: 253-851-3111 A Burn Permit is required for burning any yard debris. Residential yard debris burning is allowed January 1 through June 15, and October 15 through December 31.

PenMet Parks: The Peninsula Metropolitan Park District, formed in 2004, owns and operates the Tacoma DeMolay Sandspit Nature Preserve and Fox Island Fishing Pier. These properties previously had volunteer park hosts, a program that PenMet ended on October 1, 2021.
