Kick off your shoes and dance around in our summer grass! FICRA is gearing up for our kickoff of the beautiful Fox Island summer season with our annual SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION at the Nichols Community Center on Saturday, June 22nd.
First off, the Fox Island Art Fair has been moved to the Nichols Community Center this year and is open from 1:00pm-5:00pm inside. We have 30+ exhibitors to date to show and/or sell. Come in early and get the good pieces (ok, they’re all good)!
The Flock of Beagles band rocks us out from 5:00-8:00pm with live music. They are a fun, five-piece band that will have you on your feet dancing the evening away! Bring your own lawn chair, let the kids run and play. Plus, we have PJ’s Chicken and Waffles food truck to fill your bellies as you/they burn those calories!
Of course, we have our annual Cornhole Tournament! Will last year’s team keep their “crown” or will another team highjack it? Let’s give them a run for their money, lol. It’s a bracketed game for all those fantasy football types. Get your team mates early to claim those bragging rights!
It’s a full day on our green and in the field! Beer and wine available for purchase. The weather is going to be P-E-R-F-E-C-T to break out of hibernation and be with island friends and family! And the best part…. It’s all FREE Family Fun!!
