Special Meeting of the FICRA Trust Board
August 17, 2023 5:30 pm at the Nichols Community Center
Attendees: Arlyn Lawrence (President), Weston King (Vice President), Hal Goodell (Treasurer), Candy Wawro (Secretary), Jim Braden (Buildings and Grounds), and Craig McLaughlin (director), excused.
Public Comment: None
New Business: Arlyn made a motion to approve the new bylaws as written. Wes seconded. Vote was unanimous. Motion carried. Wes suggested placing the building name under the historic school signage versus on the building.
Old Business: Wes asked for approximate monetary clarification for new signage at the Nichols Community Center as proposed. Without a final receipt, Arlyn proposed we initially approve $1200. Hal seconded the motion. Vote was unanimously approved.
Jim reported on replacing the front and rear Community Center doors which have rotted. A vendor has responded for doing both, but there is a 3-month wait time as the vendor only does one job at a time and is presently working on the doors for the Chapel. Two other vendors are bringing proposals to us.
