Memberships for 2018-19 total 431 as of 5/8/19. There are 80-90 who are not renewed yet. Most will renew in August at the FICRA Fair. Funds from Paypal will be moved when appropriate. Profit & Loss has no surprises. The dance lessons and the exercise programs are going well.

A question is raised: why is there $2011.09 in “undeposited funds” on the balance sheet, and what does that mean? Tony is preparing for the audit and has a question about the bank statement: What is Sound Credit Union Rewards Points summary, 3318.00. Tony needs to know what that is from Hal. Naomi reads explanation from Sound Credit Union website. Pia asks if we can use this somehow, possibly as a give-away, to help reward people who attend the meetings.

Unfinished Business: None

Committee Reports:

Social Activities: Miguel reports that organizing of planned activities is going slowly. He feels overwhelmed and is needing help organizing several events. He has secured a DJ for each event that requires a DJ (for $1050 total to include 5 dances, Mother/Son dance, Father/Daughter Dance, the summer solstice, HS grad party and Adult Prom night). Music licensing is already paid for by the DJ. Next events are the Mother/son dance on May 24th and Father/daughter dance on May 25th. Ray will be organizing volunteers to help decorate. Then, Sept 8th, has not yet been confirmed, to host Casper Baby Pants. Pia suggests Recess Monkeys can be scheduled instead or as a back up plan.

Membership: Naomi reports that membership is going well. Carolyn Braden has given her a list of volunteers with previous experience at the membership booth at the fair. Naomi reports she is not trained in how to use the Square equipment and she will not be in attendance at the FICRA Fair, so she will do her best. And will contact Gisella Gaz to open. She feels there should be a board member representing for membership opportunity at every FICRA event. Pia volunteers to work a membership booth at the Summer Solstice. Pia and Naomi will volunteer for June 30th HS Grad Celebration. There are no volunteers available at this time for May 24,25th. Gina recommends a training session for membership volunteers the night before, and that the Membership team have the first shift start early on the morning of the FICRA Fair to help take membership dues from the folks trying to pay before the fair starts while setting up their booths. Kyle will volunteer for membership booth for Nov 9th Adult Prom Night (21&over/there will be childcare) and Kyle. There is currently no one available for the membership booth on Dec 1st, Tree lighting/Christmas Concert.

Miguel would like to know what more we can do to reach the 100-160 who have not yet renewed. Naomi reports that she believes a letter has been sent, but she will confirm, and create a new list. Jim volunteers to help with phone calls.

Senior Activities: Ray is working on this and has sent information to Miguel. He will review and present at the next meeting.

New Business: None
